Who we are

The name Arcara Strat reflects the core of our approach. “Arcara” draws on the idea of underlying structures and frameworks, the hidden systems that shape political, economic, and regulatory environments. “Strat” refers to strategy, emphasising the application of that understanding to real-world decision-making. Together, Arcara Strat represents a focus on decoding complex global systems and translating them into clear strategic direction. Ultimately, our goal is to help organisations navigate an era shaped by the weaponisation of interdependence, fragile supply chains, rising protectionism, and the fracturing of alliances and institutions that once underpinned global economic stability. In a world where uncertainty is structural rather than temporary, we provide clear analysis, strategic foresight, and practical solutions, ensuring our clients are not just prepared for change, but positioned to lead within it.

About the founder

Salmaan is a graduate of Queen Mary University of London, where he earned a First Class BA in History and Politics, and SOAS, University of London, where he completed a Master’s degree in the Politics of Conflict, Rights and Justice with Distinction. His academic work focused on geopolitics, governance, conflict, and institutional accountability, themes that underpin the analytical foundation of Arcara Strat.

He has gained practical experience within the UK Parliament, working in the House of Commons for a serving parliamentarian. In this role, he drafted press releases, responded to complex policy casework, prepared briefing materials on contentious political issues, and contributed to a report on improving accessibility within the parliamentary estate, submitted to the Speaker’s Office. This experience strengthened his ability to translate complex political and regulatory developments into clear, structured analysis.

In parallel, Salmaan completed a virtual internship with the New York–based consulting firm The Advance Group, supporting NGO and corporate clients through research, policy analysis, and strategic grant proposal refinement. His work included stakeholder outreach, research synthesis, and strengthening funding applications by aligning them with donor priorities.

Drawing on this academic and professional background, Salmaan founded Arcara Strat to bridge rigorous geopolitical and regulatory analysis with practical strategic insight for organisations navigating an increasingly complex global landscape.
